However, my local HD has several partitions with different OSs. Need a link? The Thumb now has a single partition with one OS, but it can be partitioned as usual. Still need to add some extra drivers after booting from it, and of course register OS when trial expires. tib archive of such system already intalled on a different brand thumb, and format & restore it onto his own thumb in Acronis in 5 min. No extra drivers (Hitachi, etc.) are used at all, and it boots and works fast with full XP Pro (with eBoostr or O&O). It installs XP from CD or ISO straight to any USB Stick like an ordinary drive, and it works perfect after that. To be honest, after researching all methods available, I wanted to test a ready-to-go XP install package made by one Maestro.

If I use the same VM with different boot devices, info about various boot devices and their OS changes will be kept in a single Profile of that Virtual machine? Can it be reused in a different VM? Is that correct? Or they are stored in the VM Profile on my local HD? When I exit VM, anything will be left on the Thumb? If I boot from it into a PC, can I see or use the soft, installed while in VM? Can I controlled this process at all: for example, install a program in VM, and if it works OK, use it after exiting from VMWare and booting from the Thumb to a PC?

I have a basic question thougth: after boot from a USB Flash in VM, where it stores all OS changes? I guess, it creates an invisible virtual drive on the Flash or a Page file, where the changes and installed drivers are stored. Will try to play with Profiles and IDE drivers. But when they are disconnected, it boots OK. Thanks a lot, guys! Plpbtnoemul.iso handled this like a champ! I still have other problems though: during boot from USB in VM an Error pops up like : can't access a physical drive 0 or drive 1 (my local HDs).
